About
Worked Numbers takes one money question at a time - which debt to pay first, what a markup really earns, what a rental actually clears - and works it through with real numbers instead of rules of thumb.
How the numbers are made. Every figure in an article is computed by a small program and inserted into the text when the site is built. Nobody types a result in. Where it matters, the arithmetic is done twice, by two independent implementations, and the article is only published if they agree.
What this is not. It is not financial, legal or tax advice, and the worked examples are examples - illustrative inputs, chosen to show how the arithmetic behaves, not claims about what is typical.
The products. Some articles end with a link to a spreadsheet or printable from our Gumroad shop that does the same arithmetic on your own numbers. Those are our products, and every article says so where it links.
